Online IELTS preparation that measures you first.

Most online IELTS courses hand you a syllabus and hope it matches your gaps. This one starts with a 25-minute test across all four skills, tells you the band you are at today, and builds the plan backwards from your test date. Then it keeps correcting the specific mistakes that are costing you bands until they stop coming back.

What an online IELTS course should actually do

An IELTS band is not a measure of how much English you know. It is a measure of four separate performances under time pressure, each scored against a published set of descriptors. That means preparation is diagnostic work before it is teaching work: until you know which of the four is dragging your average down, and why, more study is just more hours. A course that starts with a lesson rather than a measurement is guessing — and because the overall band is an average, the fastest route up is almost always the weakest skill, not the one you enjoy practising.

How the preparation works

1. Measure

25 minutes

Four short papers — Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking — scored the way the real test scores them. You finish with a band estimate per skill, not a single vague number.

2. Plan

instant

You give your target band and your test date. The plan works backwards from it: what to practise, on which days, and what has to improve by how much for the target to be realistic.

3. Practise

daily

Each session is generated from your own weak points, not a fixed syllabus. Speaking is a live conversation; Writing is marked against the four public criteria.

4. Correct

ongoing

Every error found gets filed and comes back on a spacing schedule until you stop making it. The same mistake reappearing is the single biggest reason bands stall.

What the IELTS course includes

All four skills

Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking — not a speaking-only or writing-only tool.

IELTS Academic and General Training

Reading differs between them, and the plan accounts for it. TEF Canada and TEFAQ are not live yet.

Full mock exams

Sat under timed conditions, with a band per skill and an overall band at the end.

Live speaking practice

All three parts, with an examiner that interrupts, follows up and moves on like the real one.

Writing marked on the public criteria

Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy — each scored separately.

An error bank that does not forget

Your mistakes are stored and re-tested on a spacing schedule, which is what makes a correction stick.

How the scoring works

Listening and Reading are marked against the answer key, so there is nothing to argue with. Writing and Speaking are judged by two independent AI evaluators built by different companies, each scoring against the public IELTS band descriptors. When the two disagree by more than half a band, the lower score is the one you are given. A single model marking its own work is the reason most free checkers score generously; two models that have to agree is harder to please, which is the point.

IELTS coaching fees, stated plainly

499 a month. Cancel whenever. The level test costs nothing and you see your band before you are asked to pay.

The reason that sentence is unusual is worth naming: almost every IELTS coaching page in India asks for your phone number before it will tell you a price. If you are comparing options, the honest comparison is not our price against theirs — it is what an hour of practice costs you, and how many of those hours you will actually do. A ₹500-an-hour human tutor is excellent and most people book one session a week. IELTS Speaking rewards frequency; a tutor you can talk to at eleven on a Tuesday night is a different kind of useful from a better tutor you meet on Saturdays.

Start with the 25-minute level test

All four skills, scored the way the real test scores them, with a plan and a date at the end. You will know within half an hour whether your target band is realistic.

Online IELTS preparation — FAQ

How much does online IELTS coaching cost here?
₹499 a month, cancel any time, with the level test free before you pay anything. That is stated up front because most IELTS coaching fees are not — centres and online courses usually quote only after you submit an enquiry form, and the range for a full IELTS course in India runs from a few thousand rupees to well over ₹25,000. Compare on what you actually get per rupee: a human tutor at ₹300–800 an hour means one session a week for most people, and IELTS speaking improves with frequency more than with any single lesson.
Is this an IELTS course, an app, or coaching?
All three descriptions fit, which is why the search results for them are so muddled. Practically: it runs in a browser on your phone or laptop with nothing to install, it plans and marks your work the way a coach would, and it covers the full syllabus the way a course would. There is no live human teacher — that is what keeps it at ₹499 instead of ₹499 an hour.
Do I need to pay to find out my band?
No. The 25-minute level test across all four skills is free. You sign in with Google at the end so your results and plan are saved to your account — that is the only thing asked of you before you see your band.
How long before my test should I start?
Six to eight weeks is the range where a plan changes the outcome most. Under two weeks, focus narrows to exam technique and the mistakes you already know about; the plan will say so rather than promise a band jump it cannot deliver. Over three months, the risk is drift, so the plan front-loads the weakest skill.
Which is harder to improve, Writing or Speaking?
Writing, for most candidates. Speaking bands move relatively quickly with frequent practice because fluency and coherence respond to volume. Writing bands are held back by grammatical range and accuracy, which need correction on your own sentences rather than more reading of model answers.
Is IELTS Academic or General Training right for me?
Academic for university admission and most professional registration; General Training for migration to the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, and for some work visas. Listening and Speaking are identical between them. Reading and Writing differ, and you should check the exact requirement with the body you are applying to before you prepare — it is the one detail nobody else can decide for you.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in any modern mobile or desktop browser, with nothing to install. Speaking practice needs a microphone and a reasonable connection, since the examiner listens and replies in real time.
Can it guarantee a band 7?
No, and be wary of anything that says otherwise. What it can do is tell you honestly, after 25 minutes, how far band 7 is from where you are now and how much work the gap represents. Some plans come back saying the target is not reachable by the date given — that is more useful than encouragement.
