Privacy Policy

Parayoo (“Parayoo”, “we”, “us”) is a Malayalam voice-typing and Manglish-to-Malayalam tool operated by Kelwo, Muthukulam, Kerala, India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: pooja@voislabs.com.

Voice and audio

Your voice is never stored. When you dictate, audio is streamed to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, converted to text in real time, and discarded. We do not keep recordings.

What we collect

• Account — when you sign in with Google: your name, email, and profile photo.
• Your content — text you create, edit, format, or save to your history, plus any custom vocabulary you add. This stays yours.
• Usage — word counts and basic activity needed to run the free daily allowance and your word balance.
• Payments — purchase records for word packs. Card and payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay; we never see or store them.

AI processing

To format text or convert Manglish to Malayalam, the relevant text is sent to Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini) for processing and returned to you. This processing is governed by Google Cloud’s terms; the text is not used to train models.

Where data is stored

Account data, your saved content, and usage records are stored in Google Firebase / Firestore. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers required to run Parayoo — Google Cloud (speech, AI, storage, auth) and Razorpay (payments) — and only as needed to provide the service or comply with law.

Your choices

You can delete saved items from your history at any time. To access or delete your account and associated data, email pooja@voislabs.com and we’ll action it.

Children

Parayoo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
